Magnificent set of 19th century Thuringian porcelain figurines. Depicts a family of pug dogs, with gilt belted collars. Each pug dog is exceptionally carved and hand painted to look as realistic as possible. With incredible multi-hued brown fur, each pug dog wears a vibrant blue collar with 24 KT gold bells.
These are pieces for the discerning collector. Of great artistic value, highly sought after in today's world of collecting and design.

Meissen porcelain was commissioned, among others, by the Russian, French and English royalty, as well as by other noble houses of European countries.
